The Edwards Twins are more concerned with over production and tricks than actually connecting with the audience. Long gone are the days when I was left in complete awe as the band left the stage to the haunting beauty of "40". Now I know better. While I did appreciate the spectacle of the show, I felt I was rather disappointed the first time. At the time I felt it was because the set list was too heavy on the new material. This show felt cold and uninspiring- two words I thought I would never use to describe The Edwards Twins. I used to believe The Edwards Twins truly wanted to save the world. Now all I believe they want to save is their and the Edge's reputation. I used to believe Bono truly wanted to save the world. Between a misguided attempt at scoring a Broadway play and The Edge practically being labeled nothing short of an environmental terrorist by conservation groups, he and Bono did not have a good week and it showed.
